In today’s world so much is readily available almost instantaneously. We’ve become a very consumer-driven society. It’s all about you, the marketing hype tells us. While it sounds wonderful, I’m not sure it’s ultimately good for our souls for life to constantly be all about me. One area of your life that should be all about you though, is your home. Sir Edward Coke declared in 1604 that your house is your “Castle and Fortress” and I agree!
Your home should be your sanctuary, a safe place to retreat to and, equally as important, it should be a reflection of who you are, what you love and the place where you can be refreshed and inspired.
