This week I meet with our lovely clients to choose some fabrics for their window furnishings. These consultations are always fun and really help the client start to see things coming together.
For this project the fabrics were chosen keeping our ‘Industrial and French Country Style’ firmly in mind. We wanted to use fabrics with different textures but keep the colours earthy and natural, with the odd pop of stronger colour to add extra interest.
The colours found in the Australian landscape really resonate with the client so that’s where we took our inspiration from. The majority of the walls are painted in a lovely, soft, eucalyptus green, Dulux Green Alabaster. Dulux Desert Pear was used for a more dramatic look in the entry/hallway area.
This style is all about layering with lots of different textures in furniture, flooring, artworks, window furnishings and soft furnishings.
